I taught at USAFA 15 or so years ago. We typically soloed 0-hour students in 7-10 days (10-15 tows). I'm sure you had the same experience.

With your background, I say go for it. Good attitude and disciplined study are the keys to those accelerated programs. Good luck and enjoy!

I really miss those early morning and late afternoon tows along the front range. Didn't have a clue at the time how lucky I was to be doing that.

I would recommend gliding to anyone...its great fun.

I only winch-launched, never aerotow...the acceleration is addictive!!
