Default Instrument Ground instructor Written?

Could anyone recommend a study program/course that is best for preparing for the Instrument Ground Instructor? It has been several years since I took the instrument written and would like to now add the Instrument Ground Instructor as a rating. I have looked at Dauntless and Preparetotest.com and am still looking and was wondering if anyone out there is actively reviewing material for this test and what are you using. I am also looking to add the Advanced Ground Instructor and would like to have some help on what course is best for that as well.

In years past I took the ATP and Flight Engineer written with sheppardair.com and really enjoyed that program. I was hoping to find something similiar.

Many Thanks,

Default Is there anybody in here?

Bueller,............., Bueller.................., Bueller...............?

Well I guess I'll have to be NOT lazy and study all those 1000 questions. I was hoping someone knew an easy road to study for the IGI and AGI test. If you can think of something other than reading Gleim, ASA or the respective computer programs that you think may be better, please post.

Sportys has a free online study program for the Instrument written. I used that when I was a student, worked ok.

I just used the ASA test prep for the AGI, it's the same test (same question bank anyway...) as the Flight Instructor Airplane (FIA).

The IGI is the same as the Instrument Airplane test you took for your instrument rating. I actually took one awful day back when I was working on my instrument rating and took the Instrument Airplane, Instrument Ground Instructor, and Flight Instructor Instrument (for CFII) tests. they're all the same question bank so if you find somewhere that gives practice tests for instrument, you're fine with all those.

I started on mywrittenexam.com and took a boatload of practice tests. over and over and over. However, for the flight instructor airplane/advanced ground instructor they didn't have anything up for that (I haven't checked in awhile), so i went to mypilottests.com it takes just a few minutes to set up a username/password. both sites are free.

over, and over, and over...

Deep into the study material now. Should take both of the test this next week or so.

Many Thanks,
