Visited Ari-Ben yesterday. Got a chance to fly the CRJ-200 flight simulator. We stayed in the pattern around the airport. Man, that was blast!
I had no clue as just how sensitive the flight controls are. The instructor said that they try to make it as realistic as possible in terms of the settings from the mainframe computer. Had some problems leveling my wings on approach and overshot the touchdown markers but all in all it was pretty cool. Based on what he said about the config of the instrumentation between the 200,700 & the 900, the 900 is easier to fly. If ever given the opportunity and the choice, I'd take the 900 any day.

Most jets (especially smaller ones) are very pitch sensitive. Simulators (as always) tend to be even more touchy.
The 900 feels more solid, but sometimes on a visual the 200 comes in handy it's pretty nimble.

If you think that CRJ box is cool to fly, try the 737 or 757-200
