Default Multi Time in Chicagoland $150

Not quite as cheap as the 90$ for NYC, but J.A. Air Center at the Aurora Aiport (KARR) has a Seminole to rent at $150 an hour wet.

So is there a seminole for rent at JA or is there not? Lumanair has one I noticed that they rent for around $205 an hour I believe. I take it they're going to require 500TT and a hefty checkout to even think about renting it if they actually do have one.

How are the aircraft there at JA. Clean, well maintained, available for overnights, etc.? Anyone?

$169/hr is a fairly low price, especially wet!

It's 169 wet if you buy a 10 hour block (it used to be 150/hr wet). I think the guy said it's now 180 if you go per hour.

Either way its still really good. They are well equipped too and maintained. When I heard it, I thought it would be some old Seminole from like 1960 with engines that barely run. Supposedly they are early 2000 era and have some good avionics in them too.

Mind you, they are former Embry Riddle aircraft so make sure you check them over REALLY good (I kid... I kid)

Still, not bad for a 2000ish plane. I get our 1978 Seneca I for 189 wet with my CFI discount.

Damnit and I left the Chicago area thinking it was all dried up.

I contacted JA and they said they would be updating their website to add the new planes and make other changes. The planes are from a flight school so they probably have some good hours on them (Embry Riddle). They must have got them on the cheap.
