I left before they started getting the Chinese contracts back in (2007), it was a much smaller school then. I've tried renting there since then I pretty much gave up. It was difficult to get on the schedule and they require a check-out in each plane like every 3 months even though I used to instruct in all of them.. So I was limited to 1 type and it was hard to schedule.

You might have a hard time finding a place that will let you use their airplanes, they will site insurance as the reason. That said a long time ago I was able to talk one school into letting me teach an instrument student in their plane, but this is only because we were both qualified and checked out in their aircraft.

I also had many students with their own airplanes. I usually just met them at the local FBO and worked from there.

Yea im figuring out its hard to find any kind of instructing job anywhere. I've had ye insurance line pulled on me 3 times this week. I even offered to get my own insurance that would cover me and the plane. No go

I agree that teaching international students, is VERY challenging to say the least.....VERY CHALLENGING.....

It is also very challenging for management....My school went under and had the same 90% to 10% ratio and really left the domestic guys looking elsewhere. School went under due to non payment from the chinese airlines.

Good luck...
