I also had my AGI/IGI when going in for my initial, i did the II fas my initial then the CFI-A two days later, i was also told that there is a chance that the FOI wouldnt be covered due to the fact you already have an instructors cert. however it is fair game and they are all correct that you have not demonstrated any knowledge of the FOI. it is not in the PTS to skip it but im lucky my DPE did skip it. cause i have heard horror stories of two to three hours on FOI stuff. my CFI was easier than my private 1.5 hour oral. .9 hour flight done by 11 AM, however this is not by any means the normal.
