Florida Flyers-vs-Dean Int-vs-Aviator College
Hello captains
I'm an ATC thinking to be a pilot
I've been searching for like a month for good school in US...
I found this "AVIATOR COLLEGE" in Florida...
what's interesting is the Commercial pilot program with 250 Hrs for$38,655
Does anyone have any bakground about this college ,, has any tried it ?
I heard alot on the forums ,, some praising and others dispraising
If you know any better school = low cost + good training for internationals
will be very helpfull
the school has to be FAR141 and able to issue I-20 for international student.
thank you in deed

I've visited the school twice. The owner, Mike, is a no non-sense type of guy. They, like any other school have their issues whether it's personnel, maintenance of a/c, and/or instructors. Aviator flies 172 Skyhawks and BE-76 Duchess'.

I was there for almost 2 years, I did everything but my PPL there.
I also looked around before going there but I don't think they can be beat for the multi time and the price.
I instructed there for a year after finishing my ratings, they hire almost anyone who finishes the program in a resonable ammount of time and instructing there is a great way to get flight time and good instructing experiance.
If you have any specifics you can ask me. I am not there anymore and don't have any connection with them, I just got what I wanted out of it and am happy overall.

Thank you... captains
it's very helpful.
I'm just thinking not to go there .. it takes them forever to answer my emails, and this's not professional at all.

Florida Flyers VS Dean International....!!!
Hey captains,
I Found a good offer from both schools FLORIDA FLYERS and DEAN INTERNATIONAL but I want to hear from captains who've been there or know anything about both schools...
They offer PPL/IR/MER/CPL+270 hours for almost $35,000
and what is important ,, they train internationals and can issue I-20 to apply for M1 Visa
- Is it ok to learn flying by Jan or Feb regarding weather in FL or not ??

If there's any other school that you recommend , I appreciat it. but not expensive one...!!
Thank you in advance
