To anyone who wants to do a little research and comes onto this board looking for school reviews or what not, do yourself a big favor and contact me and I will give you the whole low down on what happens at this school.

I make no attempt at concealing my identity on who I am, they know exactly who I am down there, especially Mike Cohen, his wife Peggy Cohen, and Mike Cohen's ex wife T.J. Mete.

They will all sell you the world at first to get you in the door, the life of rainbows and great career prospects, after your ratings and then after life at the aviator. Make no mistake this is not the place you want to go.

Why some may ask? Well there could be the situation with constantly aging fleet of Duchess aircraft, or there could possibly be the tremendous lack of unprofessionalism exhibited by the upper management.

I do not want to see what happened to me and many of my fellow students of the time happen to you. This was not in 1990 mind you this was 2007.

Your housing should you choose to accept living in an extremely overpriced dump that the Cohen's can not sell since the bubble burst is treated like their own personal residences, walking in whenever they please, allowing police into your homes and private residences that you pay good money for, and tying this directly to your flying status. Times get tough on occasion and don't miss a months rent because even with a fully funded flight account No flying for you.

And then there is the situation of your loan money, like many of you I had to take a loan out to attend this robbery in progress, and in my experience when I sign a loan paper, that is my money, I am responsible for it, not them. Everything is clearly stated out in your contract, the number of payments they receive from the loan company, and how much is left over for you to live on. On more than one occasion I had to go in and fight with T.J. and the financial services (big joke) department to get my money. Now when rent is 500 dollars a month and they decide to give you 1000 dollars that is unsatisfactory, especially when I had 13 thousand coming my way. Simple Math problem, I took out 50 thousand, aviator was say 37, so that leaves 13 remaining, payments were made to them every 2 months, roughly 4 thousand every 2 months. So 1000 at a time is not right, so if you want to have your money held hostage by these people be my guest and enroll.

My name is David Brown, I finished up there in 2007, with a commercial single and multi, with absolutely zero money left over, figure that out, no flight instructor ratings, NOTHING AT ALL. I didn't even fly 190 hours of multi, or 200 or whatever you say you get. Prices change constantly without your knowing. I could not afford to get my instructor ratings complete, with all the extras that they don't tell you about it just doesn't add up at the end. I met some good people and there wasn't too much left to do at the end of the day but ***** about Mike Cohen and the clown squad he surrounds himself with, oh and watch out for these people who are on his payroll that are submersed in your lives, they could be your roommate or neighbor, and anything you say could be putting you on the no fly list, the leave school list, or the Mike Cohen is going to never allow you to work in this industry list

Believe me or not, I am open to any and all questions, pm me and I will give you my number and we can talk about what to expect there, I don't really care what I say, Mike Cohen doesn't scare me, I will never work in the commercial airline industry, and say at all costs do not go into this industry, unless you want massive student loan debt, a third class rate of life, a terrible experience and school, and a shaky career outlook

There is always a significant risk in borrowing a large sum of money for flight training. Over the years I have read and heard of those who made it to the airlines, but with current pay scales of regional airlines, and when it comes time to pay back those loans, you can barely afford to make a decent living...
