Trade winds Flight School
Has anyone ever heard of this Flight School in Fort Pierce. I'm currently training in Ohio for my PPL and looking to become an airline pilot. The weather here is terrible and restricts my flying, so a move to FL might not be a bad idea. I'm trying to finish up ASAP.
From what I've read on here the big flight schools are a bad route to take, so I'm trying to look for a small flight school. Any insight?
Thanks,
Boca.

Hey Boca,
Your in the exact same position I am. Got my PPL last year and I am now an aviation major that is getting out of an aviation major ASAP. I was looking into doing some training in Florida for my instrument, time building, and commercial (MEL, SEL) and trying to finish ASAP.
Shoot me an email at [email protected]

It's not slander . You will see online flight school review websites with the ratings of students and their star rating for the school etc... I will not sit and let someone make a genuinely bad choice when it comes to fulfilling their dreams of pursuing flight training. Its the same reason I came here in my quest for finding a flight school and all I got was honest and upfront answers. I will do the same for others.

I know the folks that run the place are good folks. At least one of them works for a regional airline. They're not trying to screw you over.
And, if you are eventually seeking to network into a job, putting this stuff on here without verifying why your experience wasn't top notch isn't going to win you any endorsements.
edit: since you edited your post....
anyone who has not flown with this school - PM myself, or go to www.tradewinds-flight.com and ask the questions directly to the folks who run it. Be honest and up front. Say "I heard this place sucks, tell me why it doesn't."
I'm sorry you had a bad experience.

I dont want your sympathy for it being a bad experience. Not only myself, but 3 other pilots I know who did their training experienced the same thing as well as flight school owners who know about this place. . Oh, and ask the owner about that guy from Russia who down paid thousands of dollars to him to come to do his training and he never returned the money to the guy. I am really surprised the school is still in business...
