Hey guys, I am currently at a regional and am considering finally pursuing my 4 year degree. I am just curious if anybody has any up-to-date info on Utah Valley or ERAU worlwide (as they call it). I just wanted to ask here before I start sending out for Info.
Currently have ATP and 4000TT 135 and 121 experience with mostly SIC. only about 900 PIC
Thank You

What kind of information are you looking for? I know ERAU gives you up to 36 credits towards a B.S. degree in Professional Aeronautics. When I graduated and got 36 credits at the Orlando Extended Campus in 2003, ERAU wanted 500 hours as a CFI or 1000 hours PIC and I'm not sure if this has changed. I did my entire graduate work with ERAU Worldwide, but I was able to do everything at my pace while working a full-time desk job, part-time flying job and having 2 year old.
I also recently started teaching online courses at UVU, I'm currently teaching an accelerated class on Aviation Weather. Texts/graphics for lectures, online quizzes and even midterms/finals are all posted online. You'll need to devote time to read, study and take exams regardless of which University you go to. As long as you can work on class work for 2-3 hours every 5-6 days, you shouldn't have any problems. I would suggest that you get info from both Universities and decide which one works best for you. You will have to factor in cost and credits they give you for prior aviation experience.

TESC will give you 36 or so credits towards their aviation degree. The rest can be covered with testing out or classes transferred from anywhere, or you can just take their online classes.
