Default Hello.

Hi,
My name is Charles, I'm 14 years of age and I am an American Citizen living in the small island of Malta. I have begun flight traning on the Tecnam P 92 and I'm preparing to take my PPL in 2-3 years time.

I am looking forward to meeting all of you. Being a pilot is a thing that I have wanted to do since I was 3 or 4 years of age. I have made up my mind, I want to have a carrear as an Aviator. What ever hardships or Difficulties may arise in the road ahead I am willing to face them as you all may have of done.

Most of you are experienced airline pilots and as a Beginer to thr world of aviation, please bear any of my coments that are either incorrect or stupid.
Looking forward to knowing you all,
Charles Mercieca.

Watch out for Skyhigh, he will try to rain on your parade and bash your dreams, other than that there are some good people on here. Welcome aboard, and one other thing, try not to put your name on a public forum. There are some people on here that may do some bad things with that knowledge, try to stay anonymous so you can post how you really feel about things and not the politically correct way.

Welcome Aboard, lots of good info here.

Yes, skyhigh is very negative but he is a representative of that group of pilots who jumped through all of the hoops, paid all of their dues, and still ended up on their @sses on the street. Not many of them post on pilot forums, but there are a lot of them out there, and you definitely want to be aware that there is risk that this profession may not go well for you. Much of it has to do with you, but in this business the penalty for being at the wrong place (or company) at the wrong time is very steep...
