I am also very interested in this program. As a new CFI i'm wondering if they're wanting brand new CFI's or if they would prefer to get some with a little bit more experience but with whom they know they will get more of a return on. Such as someone with a couple hundred dual given but still a ways off from ATP mins.

Most of these schools can afford to only take those with experience. I suggest interviewing well! Pipeline guys do far better than those without a hiring agreement.

US Aviation is always hiring! Keep in mind that you do have to pass American Airlines interview/hiring process to be admitted though.

I did hear from a current CFI at Transpac that they will take people with experience. I am in that boat myself.

Do they have purchase orders out o new aircraft or what? If Skywest had a program like this my application would be in the mail TOMORROW, but I am not even sure American Eagle will be around in 12-18 months...

Any insight?

btw, I am 300hrs shy of ATP mins (4 months out) with no clue what to do next...

Massive attrition from the top. AA is taking a minimum of 20/month, plus we have pilots getting hired at UAL, DAL, Spirit, even USAir. They have beefed us up to the point of overstaffing in the short term, but it won't be long until we hurting for pilots, to the point of parking planes with nobody to fly them.

I like how CFIs in the AE Pipeline program are offered seniority once you begin with instructing at one of the flight academies. It is a great benefit to have. As far as th

It's been a few years since anyone has posted on this. I am curious as to whether or not any of you found out any more info on the AE pipeline program?

This is basically the Envoy Pipeline Program now. Flight schools and colleges around the country, such as US Aviation, are partnered with them. You get Envoy's benefits and the flight school you work at's pay rates.
