ATP Written
I was wondering if you had any suggestions as to where to get study materials for the ATP written. I've looked at All ATP's and Gliem. I've heard of another place (I thought it was somewhere in TX) that was much cheaper. Any suggestions?

I did home online prep with Lone Eagle Seminars. Might be more than you want to pay but it was all I studied and I had no problem with the test.

Buy the Gleim ATP book.
Scan through the book and recognize some of the patterns in the answers (for instance 99% of the weight shift problems, the answer is the middle VALUE- ie a=135 b=124 c=167 answer is A)
Once you find some of the patterns, go through it with a dark marker or pencil or whatever and cross out all of the wrong answers under the questions (so that you can only see the correct answers).
Read through it several times and learn the answers- Rote memorization is your goal. Odds are 85% of the stuff in the written you'll never use again. (Even if you fly the 737 or 1900, you probably have an easier way to to performance and weight and balance).
Study hard for a day (like 6 hours straight), then go take the test.

I took it at All-ATPs, and they had a gouge sheet which had the patterns for the performance questions FlyerJosh mentioned already worked out. There are about 1500 questions in the master test-bank. All-ATPs prep software only shows you 500 or so of the "most commonly asked" questions. On the official test, I only got asked 2 that hadn't been in the prep questions, and all the performance questions fit the "patterns." That being said, I'd only get it thru them if it was locally convenient, and would probably do the home study otherwise due to the expense.

Also try www.sheppardair.com Same info as All-ATP's, except you can look at the master and you have 90 days worth of studying instead of 1. Cheaper too.

You can study all the questions (1300 or so) or just some of them. They have many different options for you in your studies and only one price, example: show the answers, show only the correct answers, study only mostly asked questions, easy or harder questions, weather questions only, 121 questions only, ect.. It was pretty straightforward and easy. If you opt to take the ATP 135 prep then don't worry about studying any of the jet stuff. It was all 1900 for the 135 stuff. If you do the ATP 121 prep then the jet stuff is what you need to focus on and not the 1900 stuff.
I scored a 96 on mine the first time out and the ones I missed were questions I knew but just blew by without reading all the answers.
Best of luck to you in whatever way you decide to go.

I've always wondered where someone could find the master test bank. While it would be an interesting project, it would be doable to provide the ATP written gouge on this site.
Any ideas on where to get the test bank in electronic format?

I downloaded the software onto my work computer and practiced in my spare time. I took about 2 weeks to do that and felt comfortable enough to take it after that. Good luck in whatever way you decide to go.
