Default Aviator College

Hey everyone, I got an invite for an interview at Aviator College down in Fort Pierce, FL for a CFI position. Not really the job I'm hoping to get, but when researching Aviator the things I found weren't really positive, even when taking criticism on Internet forums with a grain of salt. I was just wondering has anyone recently had any experiences with this place?

I had a few friends there that built hours fast and moved on to the airlines quickly (pre-ATP rule though). From what they said, it didn't seem that much different than the typical complaints of CFI jobs. Somewhat crappy work rules, pay and atmosphere, but it didn't seem that much different than what 90% of other CFI's say about their job. I think there's a lot of foreign students and the MX may not be 100% up to par (but that is pure speculation on my part).

You'll definitely do a lot of flying....SE/CFI then eventually MEI. It all's depends upon you. Good luck.

You will get lots of Multi time. I was a student there. Good CFI's. The chief pilot is also a good stick. Watch out for the crazy parties. good luck.

Default Pay info

Anyone have any info on their pay? Looking for somewhere to build some multi and top off hours. Current job doesn't have a twin available.
Thanks

When I left Aviator last May the instructors were making 20 an hour and not getting paid for ground. I believe the owner has cut pay to 15 an hour.

It's not a terrible place to work if you can stand living in Fort Pierce, FL. Talk about a $*** hole town. Good Luck!
