Delta Airlines Pilot Degree Requirements
I saw something about them "preferring" a post-graduate degree for their pilots, what exactly does that mean? If it's preferred, I feel like most pilots would say it's actually required? Should I get a Masters degree or Ph.D as well, if I have any hopes of being competitive at Delta?

Delta general requirements
At least 23 years of age.
Graduate of a four-year degree program from a college or university accredited by a U.S. Dept. of Education recognized accrediting organization.
Degrees obtained from a non-U.S. institution must be evaluated for equivalency to U.S. degrees by a member organization of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES).
Current passport or other travel documents enabling the bearer to freely exit and re-enter the U.S. (multiple reentry status) and be legally eligible to work in the U.S. (possess proper working documents).
My thoughts:
A four year degree is required. Masters or PhD may help but my guess is that delta will care more about flight time quality as is indicated on the pilot job page.

Postgraduate education will be given favorable consideration.

Just got hired. No masters degree--haven't even started one (and no plans to anytime soon). Sure, maybe it'll add points to your resume score, but frankly your key to getting the interview (if you're otherwise competitive) is networking, particularly with current Delta pilots.
