Plus if you are going to be leaving a controlled airspace your going to be talking to departures and approaches... There human beings too..
My first one was a boring day for a approach controller and ended up having a legit conversation with here while flying..
Its actually easier than soloing to a practice area because if you request flight following you have people with more experience then your age guiding you along your way.
Take a deep breath line up with the runway and remember you did the same thing when you got your drivers license and had to leave your driveway without your dad in the car...

sorry for the late response
I completed my cross country over a week ago, and it went so much better than expected. Once I rotated, the anxiety and nervousness completely diminish. It’s hard to explain, but somehow I got a boost of confidence the minute I lifted off. my instructor all tell me “ you could fly the airplane or let the airplane fly you” funny enough, I was determine not to let the airplane fly me that day.
thanks to all you guys for the great advice

no it was not what I had expected, I thought I would of be a nervous wreck but that wasn't the case, thank god. the highlight of the flight was my landings; usually I get a little nervous when it comes to crosswind landings but my landing were perfect ( or close to perfect)
the low point of my flight happened at my first destination when broke the key to the aircraft. what happen was, I shut the aircraft down and went to crab a bite to eat. once I got back I beginning my pre-flight engine run-up, which was going great until I try to start the engine , which didnt turn over the first time, so i try again. this time I think I might have place too much force on the keys once I turn it, because I literately twisted the key, luckily I was able to remove the key from the ignition. needles to say I had to wait three hour for one of the instructors to fly out and bring me a spear key, but with all things said I still think it was a good day
