Hello Everyone,
Looking to split time in multi engine aircraft preferably in Phoenix area, but willing to consider Las Vegas, LAX, San diego area. Need to lower my cost of MEI. I only have about 1.5 PIC time in muti engine aircraft. ASAP.
Thank you

I need 15 pic, if I spend 13.5 hours plane plus instructor is about 4800. If I split time , let's say 10 or 12 , I only have to pay/share for airplane ,which makes my mei training less expensive because I would not have to flight 13.5 hours dual

So you would be "training" yourself in the multi engine maneuvers with a non CFI rated pilot while you are under simulated instrument conditions? It doesn't sound to me like you are setting yourself up for success with that plan.

If you feel you can get it done with just those few hours of actual flight training in the aircraft, by all means go for it. Sim time is good and all, but I would still recommend that you start your actual flight training prior to time building. This gives you the chance to figure out where you may be deficient in the actual airplane. Otherwise you might end up spending more money in the long run.
