I think that is the ATP in Tacoma, a little South of Seattle. I have never been to the ATP there, but I fly into the airport a lot. It is a really nice area with the Olympic Mountains to the West and Cascades to the East. Be ready for wind and rain, however, if you are coming this time of year.

What will you be working on?

I got my MEI at ATP "seattle". It is at Tacoma Narrows airport (TIW). They have 1 seminole. It was great because I live 5 minutes away. Good instructors and a great area to fly in.

Good luck.

Thanks guys! I went out to TIW yesterday - looks awesome. Can't wait to get going!

I am finishing my private at Pavco and then getting everything else at ATP.

The only thing I'm dreading is the dang TOLL bridge. Since when do we have TOLLS in Seattle?

MHM, glad to hear it's working out so well.

Welcome to the FUN side of the bridge! However, how long are you planning on taking? The bridge still has about nine months left until it's complete.

Just found a photo of the bridge with a view of TIW in the background:

Good choice and good luck with your training.

BTW - If Tyson S. is still an instructor there, tell him Kevin from JAX says hi!

I hope that bridge is sturdier than the last Tacoma Narrows bridge!
