Default CFI Lesson Plans

Hello fellow Aviators and CFI's. I am working on lesson plans for my CFI CFII and MEI. I would like to know how some of you formatted your plans. My approach is to use the PTS while in flight as a general guide and use my big binder as a ground school planner. I would like to know how some of you prepared for lessons. All comments would be helpful. Thank you so much.

I just used the pts for each maneuver/section as my outline and if I felt like expanding from there, I made more bullet points. Find flight training magazines and clip articles/diagrams from there as well as the pilot flying handbook. Basically any useful book in your library. What I thought was pretty handy was getting printed copies of the "aviation safety advisor" or "aviation safety brief?" (I think that's what it's called) from AOPA's aviation safety link (they can maybe mail them) and those were good to reference when you had to explain something to a student and want to give them something to keep for reading.

And of course I started mine with copies from my CFI who gave me a few as well; so that's a good idea
