ATP manassas location!

Anybody here been to KHEF for ATP school? Please share your experience. Thanks!

I did mine at All ATP at KHEF this past July. I don't know what your experience is, but I found it relatively simple. The Washington, DC ADIZ was no big deal. The training was great. What ever flight examiner they normally use wasn't available, so I ended up going over to Gaithersburg, MD for my checkride. Again, no biggie.

Nope; I instructed at GAI for a short while, and almost took my CFI-I ride with Bob (weather changed my plans and I ended up in Indiana for the ride). I still have study guides for his Private and Instrument checkrides somewhere on my computer...

Bob seemed to be a heck of a nice guy. I'm a mil pilot though, so it was my first and only civ checkride...no one but other mil evaluators to compare him to. It was definitely a workout. He was just flying "in his own backyard" and had the profile down pat. It was an ATP check finishing off the 6-day deal at All ATPs.
