Hello,
When does an airlines start thinking seriously about buying a simulator? At what number of aircraft they have?
I know people saying that when an airlines have around 10 planes, then they should buy a simulator.
What you guys/gals think?
OOzy

I wouldn't say the number of aircraft should dictate it. Rather, when it becomes cost effective for the company to purchase and maintain one rather than renting space in another.
If you only have a flight crew roster of 20-30 pilots it might take a while for your investment to pay off. Your sim gets used 45 times a year or so?
They're expensive.
