What changed? "Go anywhere else..." is really strong language.
That was top of our list to go get the CFI training then work to build hours. Partly due to their reputation, and partly due to their association with Endeavor.

Back on 12/24/2017, you wrote "I can second this. I work there and have no complaints."

I assume the question is rhetorical, but I'll post an answer anyway. My understanding is that STEP program participants receive coaching and on-site interviews at participating schools. It has been noted in other threads that applicants from the STEP program may have an advantage over some other applicants in certain hiring situations/environments.
Even if STEP is complete BS or just a PR stunt and is meaningless or relatively worthless, I still want to know what happened at Falcon that caused someone who was quite complimentary to switch to "go anywhere else".

You apply. They call you. You interview (and by interview I mean: you show up in a suit, alive and breathing, don't be a douche, and that's it). You get the job.
Regional interviews are a joke.
No need for any programs or mentoring. Don't go to a school because of their "associations", they have 0 value.

So here is why I take much of what I read here with a grain of salt. It seems that many folks on here have some sort of agenda. Why did you ask the question when you could have just given your point of view. I was right it was a rhetorical question and you were just using it as a platform to inform me of my ignorance and enlighten me with your experienced brilliance.

Go enjoy your grain of salt.
And yes - regional interviews are a joke. When you get your hours, you'll see it too.
