ATP Jacksonville...
I was hoping I could get a few comments from those of you who have visited or attended the ATP Jacksonville location. A couple of the questions i have are:
-How many aircraft does ATP have at that location?
-Maintenance of those aircraft, (I realize they have some of their older planes in Jacksonville)
-How is the housing they provide for the ACPP? Distance to airport, quality?
-Average number of students there, and student profile, young, older, etc?
Anything you got on this location would be great!

ATP was a rip-off. You will realize that you are paying more than what you pay at an FBO. ATP will drop you if they get busy (or you will get seriously delayed) and charge you $350/hr twin time (the average price is $220-$260). ATP at one time was a good example of quality flight training but has grown to the point where the instructors are swamped and quality has gone way down. Do the pay as you go method and you will have money to get you buy when you are making 20k starting at the regionals. This is something learned after making this mistake.
