Default Is it true?, Flight Safety Academy.

Heard one of the Instructors was arrested for drug smuggling (not in aircraft) late last year?

Not terribly surprising. Entry level pilots have a long and established history of running dope to supplement their entry-level wages.

A SKW FO got busted sleeping in a cessna full of weed a few years ago.

But between background checks, locals keeping a sharp eye out for terrorists, and CBP interceptors odds are not good that you'll get away with it. Also doubt the narcos will be cool with their pilots "retiring early" just because they landed a major airline job.
