Instructor jobs

Has anybody worked as an instructor overseas in the last ten years or so? How were you treated? How was the pay?

Do overseas airlines require you to have a medical to be an instructor?

Thanks,

Joe

Check with Cambridge Communications Limited. One of the more reputable contracting organizations.

Flight Instructor enquiries:

I have a few colleagues working for them, and are very satisfied with their contracts.

The Global PSIP program has pretty much ended. It was a good run for quite a number of the age 60 retirees from U.S majors for the last ten+ years, but Boeing Training tries to insource everything so local and full time positions are really the only thing remaining. The Singapore "local" deal is okay if you live within 800 miles of Singapore but only because they have the contract for Shanghai TDY assignments. Most of the really good Globals have either attached themselves to Miami and Singapore as locals; gone to BTK; or retired.

A couple of colleagues were assigned to KAL as recent as two months ago. One on the 73 and the other on the 744. They were recruited via CCL.

Yes, that's BTK. Pretty much the last good deal going within the organization.

Rishworth also offers the same position with KAL. However CCL is the better of the two contracting agencies.
