Tim, what's your spin on the changes to the FTLs in regard to the factoring of hours so that we can fly more than one hundred hours a month and the impending 1 000 hours per calender year?

I understand your one of Eds buds so you should have a bit of an idea of the legality/logic.

I understand that at the "pilot meeting" (only open to a priviledged-invited few) that the company tried to insult our intelligence by telling us that the GCAA is forcing them to factor flight hours on long-haul flights for FTL purposes. When told that there wasn't a regulator in the world that would object to the company adopting a "more conservative" approach to FTL's and that they could simply say that they won't factor-they refused to respond. Maybe you could ask Ed what's up with that.

Wasn't invited either. Perhaps Tim could elaborate on his pals plans with respect to the FTLs.

Well, you've been listening to the wrong people. I've met him, that's about it.

Nice try though.
