Why isn't it true anymore? Did you actually end up at CX? What is it that changed your mind?

CX is like owning a P-51. It looks great in the hangar and all your buddies love it. The only problem is that it's killing you in maintenance and you now wish you never bought it.

Very little control over my schedule, archaic training principles and attitudes, company can do pretty much whatever they want to you with little or no recourse, lack of any travel "benefit" (AA pilot buys ID 90 on CX and you show up for the same flight, you both get on....AA pilot has paid less than the CX employee to travel on that flight).....I could go on.

Things that are good, time off and pay, but as I have learned, pay only takes you so far.
