Would your answer change depending on whether you had human passengers or boxes in the back? Daylight or nighttime? Running out of gas? Weather deteriorating?

Just curious as to what factors you consider and how your mind works or is trained to work.

Hello,... If there was another controlled airport/approach control/enroute center nearby, I'd get them involved.

To answer your question, boxes/people, day/night, I would assume radio failure and once I determined it was on their end, I would look for light gun signals but would consider the airport to be uncontrolled. I would overfly the airport 500-1000 feet above pattern altitude to determine the landing runway, then enter the pattern and land.

Running out of gas/wx deteriorating,...I wouldn't even wait 5 minutes.

You are right. Sometimes they crack me up too. English sometimes is a problem there. Especially for the Americans. I think are not as bad as China airspace, India, or Turkey however the Greeks got better the past few years but what can you do...There is no comparison between US and Greece even any other country in the world in every aspect of technology and simplicity. US was, is, and will be the Mekka of Aviation for sure.

LOL that cracked me up.

Just for future flights into Greece.
When given a heading, set final nav setting, your 99% getting vectored to final.
