Im looking through climbto350.com and I run into yet another NextGen job for Air India. Its for an A310 FO position and in the job details they list 1000TT and 500 hours in the 777... ha ha ha does anybody do any QA anymore or do they just use the same stock email for every job. That looks real professional guys.
Anyway... how are they finding people for these jobs... 500 hours on the A310????? Besides Fedex guys who has 500 hours in an A310? And imagine leaving Fedex for Air India.. well anyway these "contract" jobs seem to be complete BS... I mean you have plenty of pilots out there ready to work, but you need time in type to get any of these jobs. how do these contract companies stay in business?

I have met several of the Indian 777 Captains. All of them were over 60 and retired from US Carriers.

the countries in which these contracts are offered require the type. most people buy the type and hope to get in with no time. India's gov has threatened to kick out all expates. maybe someone will have more info on the last. maybe it is total bs.
