This is how it works,
They are accepting applications, You need to have JAA license to work there, If you are an FAA guy with Type rating on the 737 and have more than 500 hours on it you might have a chance. Otherwise it is a no no. I now a couple European pilot with 250 tt and 737 TR got in. They had JAA license.

Well I'm here in Lagos, been here 3yrs!!! No armed guards, actually drive myself around to the pubs in GRA and sometimes to the Island area cos I live on the mainland.
Airline I work for can provide security and armed guards afterall they are the highest paying and oldest airline in the country but I'll leave it there.
The fact is Nigeria is Nigeria, lots of what has been said here is true. Yes, but I have been long enough here to come to appreciate the other side of this country and its people.
Coming here was a culture shock for me, my first year I spent at marvelling on how things were so different from where I came from and how we took so much for granted in the civilised world!!!. The fact remains that this is a country with a great divide between the poor and the Rich and a lot of things you see would make you scream in anger or wonder in amazement. Well thats how it was for me.
Amazingly the expat community has grown and is still growing no matter what. Guys arrive by the week cos of the high demand thats around here for flight crew and engineers.
And I'm still here, never been robbed or whatsoever, with a good number of my friends locals.
And I get paid for what I love to do, better than any offer ever made to me back home in the states or anywhere else.
I got a job, Period, and I'm not complaining, Noo Sir.
