Air France accepts 777th Boeing triple-7 airplane
If seven is your lucky number, you may want to try to book a flight on this plane.
Air France accepted delivery of the 777th Boeing 777 aircraft on Friday.
Air France's new 777-300ER plane will be the first to feature the airline's new branding paint scheme.
Boeing has sold 1,100 of the popular aircraft to 56 customers around the world. Air France operates one of the largest 777 fleets, and was the launch customer for the 777-300ER and the 777 Freighter.
The 777 was introduced in 1995. Boeing has a break down of all of its 777 deliveries on its Web site.

In other 777 news, FlightBlogger Jon Ostrower reports that FedEx and Boeing are talking about a passenger-to-freighter 777 conversion.
Ostrower found the information in FedEx's quarterly income report filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission. More information is on FlightGlobal.

I was up at Paine Field on Friday interviewing the airport manager for a school project. During the interview we watched this plane takeoff, the manager believed it was on its way to Paris to begin service. I like the new Air France livery, great looking aircraft.
