I do know a couple of things about O Thai. 1. Your only gonna work for about 3-4 months. 2 Don't expect to get your last paycheck. 3 Highly doubtful you actually see Thailand more like a lot of Jeddah 4. Expect to be flying clapped out equipment. 5. Duty times mean nothing.

Not that Thedude's comments require backing, but you'll find that at both OT and Phuket Air his comments, 1-4, hold true. (Auto-throttle, you're lucky to get an auto-pilot.) I'd add another point though 5. The person sitting next to you (either seat, they don't discriminate) might not be so slick, and by not so slick I mean my dog could fly better.
But hey, it's a big adventure and the pay with Phuket Air at least is in a bag of cash.

Thanks Gents,
Well, Haj is Haj, so the duration is expected. Did wet leased to Saudia (UACI) 79 to 84 living in Jeddah. Lost my last paycheck to two companies in the past. Flown for two companies where it was easier to take a PC in the sim with a P.O.'ed check airman than fly a line trip. Have seen the sun go down after starting late morning, the sun come up and the sun go down again in a "duty day" - thank you FAA international FAR's.
So, it is a match made in heaven!!! Just kidding - but, being on the bricks I have to consider anything.
Thanks for the info.

Do you have a -400 rating? Are you an FE then or also an ATP? There is the odd solid job out there that I can point you to but you'd need to be 744 command typed. Not command experienced, just typed.

Thanks 74plb, I'm too much of a newbie to have the PM. I can be reached at [email protected] - that is my very public email. Appreciate the offer and would welcome some not so public info.
