Default Emirates/Dubai Housing ... Salwan Villa?

Anyone here have info on the new (?) Salwan Compound villas? We have been given an address of Al Waha but can not find it. Just got email yesterday and now offices are closed for their weekend ... family is excited to find out more information.

Thanks in advance.

They are located off the 611 Bypass road and the road that goes past ranches. Basically drive past Arabian Ranches 2-3km out towards the desert and they will be on the left, you have to go around the big roundabout with construction in the middle then you can get on the right side of the road to enter the villas.

Hope it helps.

Thanks for quick response. Did I mention we are not in Dubai - we are still in the US looking at google maps and google earth.

So, which direction are the Salwan Villas from the ranches? From the maps/earth it is all desert. Any street names to follow.

Sorry, just need to be a bit more specific.

Has anyone seen the villas? Anyone already in the villas? How have they been recieved?

Ha, well that changes things then!! I imagine the problem with google earth etc is that they are fairly new, so maybe they don't show from the last pass used by the satellite mapping stuff. Basically from Arabian ranches go the opposite direction from the coast about 2-3kms and you should see them, right on the corner of a large 12 lane highway.

There is probably 75-100ish families moved in already, it is still very much under construction though with only a few streets being fully completed. The pools etc are probably many months away from being done. The villas are nice, most people already here are in large 4 bedroom villas but there are probably more 3 bed villas left available now, so not sure what you may get. It is a bit isolated, you have to drive about 15kms to the nearest mall, but there is a small store in Arabian ranches which is closer.

Take a look at this site, they have some floorplans etc, and some artists impressions of what it will all look like. Let me know if you need more info, I'm happy to help.
