yes sir, 100% correct, can't really explained it, I guess you have to experience how things really are yourself....

Some companies, they look at it like "mate, you have to know this, we covered it in ground school, I'm not going to explain it to you again, you better know this information"

If the sim instructor is a jerk and not working out for you, don't just pick up the phone and ask for a new instructor, do some research first. Some companies will give you a new instructor but your branded for life, and that instructor you just dumped could be doing your next check ride.

As far as flying the line and busting altitude or something like that, I don't think they have ASAP forms overthere, they bring you in for the carpet and go from there

I know many young guys want to fly 777s/747s and they'd go to the North Pole to do that, but do some research first. They play by a diferent set of rules overthere..
