Any more info available? What country do you think they are based in? What do they fly? What do they make/sell/offer?

pure E190 operation as of now, David Neeleman(notably of JetBlue and of brazilean descent) utilizes the embraer in a domestic capacity within brazil. So as you can see... "a pattern of brazileans doing business with business with brazileans."

Azul, as with any Brazilian carrier, only hires Brazilian nationals. I have been looking at Azul and TAM, both of which hire with low time compared to American companies, however I'd advise you to consider reading the Latin American threads on Pprune.org for info on what it is like to fly in South America. You can get a job flying 767s for Avianca and be paid in basically dirt, but it's 767 time.

Also you must be fluent in Portuguese and be able to pass their exams, plus convert your licenses.

Might get that info thru the "contact" page on their website - either form, email, or chat.
