Sightings in China
So I'm sure there will be several "immature" comments on this thread but lets see if we can keep them to a minimum. I find it interesting how many stories there are about that "UFO" sighting over Xiaoshan Airport in Hangzhou, China recently. There are no real definitive stories as it seems like the are keeping something on the DL.
I was just wondering if anyone had experienced any of the effects of this. I know it caused many delays and there was some safety concern. Can anyone comment on this that may have been there?
It interests me a little when aviation and weird phenomenon meet.

We were kept on the ground in Tianjin the other day due thunder storms for a number of hours. No WX inbound or when we left, but I just chalk it up to the level of ATC one normally expects in China (If you've flown there once you'll know of what I speak). Perhaps the UFO was their latest excuse.
They do like to keep you on the prescribed airways so you can't fly over an air base, but as I can't see the ground 99% of the time I really think it's just overkill or paranoia.
To keep the thread on UFO's though, I'll just say I'll keep my eye's open.
