Anyone know of a good aviation accountant? I want to know if I qualify for tax exempt for 2012. I live outside of the US but I'm paid by a US company and officially am based at home in the US.

I don't have a home or any property or even rent anything in the US. Only overseas.

We do fly into the US but only for a short layover. My schedule always shows me starting and ending overseas where I actually live.

Thanks.

You must have foreign earned income and your tax home must be in a foreign country (among other requirements). You have to be paying income taxes to some government somewhere.

Should be easy enough to find the right accountant.

No such thing as an aviation accountant (I'm an accountant). Just find a good CPA to help you.
