Default Juneyao Airlines?

Anybody have any inside information on this outfit? Good, bad, ugly?

Never really considered working in China, but yesterday a friend piqued my curiosity.

I'm not typed on the A320, but they apparently have a program for that...

Anyway, thanks!

Hola Gringo.

If you haven't looked there already, you will probably have better luck getting info here:
South Asia and the Far East - PPRuNe Forums

The more I read about China aviation contracts the more I would rather go back to full time CFI, and that's all the way from wanting to go to China a year ago. You have nothing to stand on or back you, even the crew agencies, against your employer for changing and degrading the terms of your contract.

If you have the appropriate times look at a CA position at Air Japan or Korean.

Good luck!

I wouldn't go as far as to say to look outside china. Just don't expect to come to china and have a contract that is actually followed. With my company, at least the paychecks arrive when they are supposed to. It is a completely different world over here, but it is all about what you make of it. Some guys can handle that, others can not.

You will find several ex Korean expats at Air China but NOT the other way around.

Air China and China Southern are regarded as better work places than Korean by far.
