Default Moving Abroad

Been posting for awhile about going abroad on numerous websites. Hopefully my mil commitments will be up next year and I'm ready to pull the trigger. I'm specifically looking at Asia...

The question I have was how did you deal with your affairs back home?

Did you move all your stuff into storage? Or just have someone watch your house?

Did you get a post office box for mail?

How often do you see your family?

I have a house in Ohio but would really like to move back to Florida, that's where most of my friends are... Meanwhile Id like to work in Asia as I've always liked it there and have family in the Philippines. But it would be nice to have a condo or something to come back to in Miami.

Just seeing how you did it?

Thx in advance.

Get the overseas job...sell the Ohio house...buy a condo in Miami. Go fly in Asia and come back to your condo on your time off...mail can be sent to your condo

There are mail services that can scan/email your mail and forward items you need as well. Used one working in Dubai

I used myus.com to forward my mail when I first moved abroad a few years ago and it looked more like a temporary move. A good service and reasonable price.
