I think we need to point out a very distinct difference between Scheduled 121 vs Fractional ops.

In the 121 world, your boss pays you to fly passengers from point A to B.

In the Fractional world, there are no such thing as "passengers" -- the guy in the back IS the BOSS. While he's on board, in every technical sense of the word, he OWNS that jet.

Now if my BOSS wants to pat me on the back for a "job well done", or wants me to have a "good time" while I'm overnighting in Cabo, far be it for me to insult him my refusing his generous gift.

It was a great ride for 5 years. As usual the aircraft got sold when wife #1 was let go.
