Netjets Increasing Hiring Part Duex..

Come on JL (CaFarful/FlyLow22), you can’t even get rid of the “Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk” signature at the end. We all know it’s you. I’ll try to get a hold of Pfaff to get you back in line 😬

He has shown his true colors and has fully gone to the dark side. He is no friend to his union brothers and sisters. He informs management on a regular basis. JL and those like him are a pariah to any professional pilot group.

The silence is deafening, isn’t it...?

Reminds me of when my kids were little and would play dress-up. They’d come to the front door and ring the doorbell, then try to convince me that they were traveling salesmen or something…

Only difference is they were 7 years old... he’s 40 something.

Well, you did bust him outright. Nicely done, by the way.

Could someone explain and breakdown the different schedules and how they are chosen, are they bid on seniority or can you choose?

GeeWizDriver 09-18-2018 08:26 AM

Standard schedule is 7 on, 7 off. The 52 day, 60 day, 72 day, and 76 day “Crew Choice” schedules are also available for bid with a corresponding adjustment to the salary based on whether you work more or fewer days than the standard 7-7.

The major drag to the CC schedules is that you don’t know what days off you will have until the 15th of the month prior. You also bid for those via a PLCS system that is a complete train wreck.

While in training, you are placed on the 72 day schedule and then you are placed on a schedule following the next bid which is seniority driven. Bids occur three times a year. Only one of the three each year is a “flush” bid where you can be driven off your desired (or not-so-desired but awarded) schedule or 7-7 start day by a more senior pilot.

Clear as mud?

It’s a retarded system but I expected nothing less from my company and my negotiating committee.

Well that sounds a bit more involved than I thought, with the 7/7 what day do you start on?
