Airshare PIC
May consider an EMB300 position in TX. This would be a Managed Acct (several owners) with 2 pilots to start out. What kind of on/off schedule is expected? Would welcome any further info --the usual---QOL, salary, benefits, management, turnover, aircraft mx, etc. Would u recommend EAS (via pm).

It's for a managed aircraft account. Thanks |

fly it single pilot?
Do Airshare do single pilot on the Phenom? If so, only on managed aircraft? I charted a Phenom 100 once from a US charter outfit and was given the option of having a second pilot which I took. |
The 100 is for sure a single pilot ship. No need at ALL for a 2 pilot crew. It’s slow and has no useful load. I flew one single pilot for 2 years. Of course I have 12 years of single pilot 135 in my background. Still. The G-1000 is easy to use. It’s slow as hell. Once used to the breaks it’s easy to land. IMO though it’s completely underpowered.
airshare does use two pilots. |

airshare does use two pilots. I flew an early Phenom 300 some years ago. I never really did like the G1000. It's capable but the user interface is very dated and not intuitive. I prefer any of the other FMSs I have used (various generations of Honeywell and Collins). Having said that, the G3000 is a huge improvement in terms of user interface and the G5000 is even more capable. Not perfect, but pretty darn good. |
Does AirShare still have and utilize OpSpec/Mspec A015?
Are they an EOD operator? If the answers are no and/or yes respectively, it’s a moot point. SIC required for all aircraft. |
AirShare operates all of the 300 with a PIC and SIC. The only time I flew it single pilot was to reposition it and meet my SIC there or to take it up for MX.
