When I worked there, I lived in Dallas and spent 6 months based in PSM and 6 months in PDK. The only requirement is that you are within 2 hours at 0400 on day 1.

If you were to stay in JAX, the only issue you might face would be the Standby at Home popup.

So basically, I'm scheduled for 8 days of "company time" and 6 days of "me" time. During "company time" I can be flying all 8 days, sitting at my house waiting for a call, or sitting at an airport somewhere else?

Is anyone getting called? I initially sent a resume in early June. Sent an updated resume in early July. I finally got the official application about 3 weeks ago, which I returned the next day. After that, I havent heard a peep. I just wondered if anyone has been interviewing.

I had a friend who worked there for a while and he told me that the whole process from initial application to training was pretty long. Several months or so. I guess maybe they have a lot of apps to sift through.

Interviews have been ongoing, as far as I know. It was 2 months from "resume sent" to interview for me. From friends in the company, they will continue to do classes in the winter and spring.

i sent in a resume last month, took them two weeks or so until hr responded, said they will send an application at some point but, with anticipated ground school dates of January. haven't received the application yet

I sent my resume to them after seeing an ad on the orange site. They sent me the application packet about a week later.

I just finished the application and sent it back to them yesterday. Hope to hear something soon.

How strict are they about being within 100 miles of a base? is BTV considered too far for the Portsmouth base?

flyman128 09-14-2014 03:13 AM

There are people that live in BTV that are PSM based. They do have some sort of crash pad or relatives in the area that they generally stay at if they come back to PSM

MCO is coming soon! Any information about how many people they're planning to staff on this base? Anyone currently working at plane sense? I would like to know how many hours per month you can expect? Schedule? How many legs per day? Etc.

Thanks
