No idea. Even if it is, classes ebb and flow a bit as it gets closer.

[QUOTE=PICsf340;1888337]It's not overly complicated, but it sure wouldnt hurt to be prepared. We have had some guys wash out of the last few classes. If you fail any part of it(written, sim, or IOE), they send you home. Plus, there is a potential for a quick upgrade here. Upgrade has a lot to do with how well you do on all training and checking events.[/QUOTE

One an out, really the majors don't even do that....

Well this isn't the majors. It's not rocket science, so if there is any weakness in the training portion it is a sign of future issues. Whether it's a PC-12 or a Global, it's still a 135 checkride - complete the maneuvers within tolerances.

I don't think people fail because they can't fly... It's more of an attitude thing.

New A/C

Saw they were advertising for a Nextant PIC temporary position and the APC profile says they are getting 5 Nextant A/C. Any idea when are going to fill the positions and salary range ?

Toonces 08-19-2015 10:00 AM

Positions are filled, the first Nextant is flying. Everyone else after will be upgrades.

Just received an offer for an October class date. Any suggestions on what I should start studying?

What is the company policy on a crashpad near base during 8 day cycle?

I don't make the decisions but I would guess it would be frowned upon. Maybe.

How far away do you actually live? Are you actually going to be commuting? Or is it more of a convenience thing so you don't have to start driving at 1 am for your 4 am show time?

If you do live far enough away that you have to travel day 0 so that you can be in position day 1, and on the flip side travel day 9 to go home, you just turned an 8/6 schedule into 10/4. Your life will suck. Trust me. We've had guys that tried this, they didn't last long. And they were not fun to fly with, mainly because they never really got a chance to "unwind" at home.

Give me a little more info on your situation via PM and maybe I can give you a better answer.
