Default Alpha Flying

Does anyone have any info/experience with alpha flying? i.e. pay, schedule, upgrade times, hours/month etc? I did a search but didn't really turn up too much. I put in a resume for a FO position along with a bunch of other operators in the south Florida area and was curious if anyone had any insight on the work environment etc. And yes I know the logging conundrum associated with the 91(k) and sic's in the PC12.

Thanks!

I have a co worker who works there so take this info with a grain of salt.

I believe the FO pay for first year is in the vicinity of 30k. They run a 6 on 4 off schedule (at least my co workers schedule is). Typically is it 6 GONE 4 off meaning you are gone and out of base for 6 days. I believe upgrades from who I have talked to are under a year. As for hours per year I am not sure. There are a few alpha flyers on this site who can correct my mistakes but If no one replies this will get you on the right track

Thanks for the info. Its definitely more than I had before. I've also seen a bunch of different minimums posted, on their website they are saying 1000tt, while on climbto350 it says "all serious applications considered." I'm at close to 700tt, instructing daily, and will have a four year degree from a "real" university at the end of the summer. So who knows, I figured sending them a resume wouldn't hurt.

They will hire below mins..within reason and all other aspects taken into consideration as usual. But it says 1000TT with a college degree, I know people who fly for them with no degree and less hours, so it is possible.

Thanks again sgt. Any idea, from talking to your coworker what they are like to work for? Does he seem to enjoy it?

probably shouldnt even be typing it since it is just second hand info and I dont even work there...

But...He does seem to like it from what I gather, but does not want to stay in a single t-prop forever like most people. He told me I should go work there so unless he hates me then it must be a decent company.
