NJA Capt or any other NJA pilot,
I am currently a CRJ Capt at ASA and am tired of the commuting, crappy pay and very crappy QOL. I make $64 an hour at ASA and am deciding if the move to NJA is worth or if the grass is really greener it. My goal is to get KDAL as a base or the whole thing would not work for me at all. I know I will take a paycut, but I will be in a much better place in 5 years at NJA than I would be at ASA. Plus the regional industry just seems to be going down the tube. I am very good to our customers as well as a people person. What is your opinion of a 5yr regional pilot going to a fractional and staring at the bottom all over again. I have over 3000 TT and only 200 PIC Jet. My goal is time with my family, pay(eventual 100K/yr), and a company to stay for the next 20 years. What is the upgrade time to any Capt position at NJA? After a year online, how do you like it, get DAL yet?
