PIT Openings for Reservists

Bengalsfan,

It is very difficult to go directly to PIT as a Reservist...ther is an unwritten rule that you have to pay your dues as a UPT IP before coming to PIT...Full time jobs (AGR) well you have to practicaly kill someone for :D
I have alot of contacts in this world and I don't think this will change soon. If you are willing to sepnd a few years as a part timer at a UPT base..a PIT slot will open up.

T-1A Guy,

You're probably my best bet on getting some info, as AFPC seems to take forever on replies. Any idea on how hard it is to get a reservist slot flying for the Academy? Specifically their Twin-Otters? Anyone specific I should talk to?

Also, I've seen that Randolph has T-43's for nav training. Any idea on who flies those and how to inquire about that job? Thanks for any help,

PTWOB

P.S.- Don't worry about the PM thing......it's still beyond me as well

I know the twin Otter program is a little tougher to get...just because of the number of airplanes vs. the number of pilots they need. I do have a friend up at the academy in the glider world and I will ask him the question this week.
Randolph T-43...mostly flown by civilian contractors with a few slots for active duty pilots. If you can get the slot...its a good deal for a 737 type. I know the MAJCOM T-43 guy pretty well and will ask him the question i.e. is there a slot opeing.
