I'm sure he's talking about Scottsdale Air Center. The Landmark is nice, but the Air Center is nicer. It would be my favorite FBO if they would let us use whatever supercar they have on the main floor as a courtesy car. The Mojo pies are interesting and good and the massage chairs are also a nice touch, but there is no movie theater, work-out room, pool tables, or video games for entertainment there so it won't be at my top of the list for extended time killing.
The new First Aviation is a much nicer facility than the old one and service is actually getting better, though still not as good as it should be. For pilot amenities First is still pretty crummy and I prefer Jet Aviation at TEB, but unfortunately it isn't my choice to go where I want.

Those of us from Scottsdale call it the Scottsdale "Art" Center because of all the paintings and sculptures in the lobby. Definitely a nice FBO, and I believe much better service than Landmark across the runway.

It can really get crazy around SDL. It is one of the busiest single runway GA airports in the country. Its really going to be crazy in the next 2 months with the Super Bowl, Barrett-Jackson auto auction, and the local PGA golf tournament all coming up.
