Default What does NETJETS mean?

NETJETS is a place I have wanted to work for many years and one day I hope there is a light rather than a train at the end of that tunnel. But as I flew into CMH last week it hit me. What does NETJETS mean? My guess is Network Jets but you know what happens when you assume. Anyone know the correct answer?

Thanks

Doesn't sound smart at all. I just imagined that it was short for something.

Thanks for the answer

A network of Jets.

I've never read any official document that states this, but it's my educated guess.

(I used to work for NJA (No, not as a line pilot))

This didn't come from an "official source" but I was told once by another one of our pilots the name was originally an acronym for: National Executive Transport - Jets. (NETJets)

No info on the name, but there's a pretty good "timeline" published here: NetJets Timeline

It sure does roll off the toungue nicely versus Flight Options or CitationShares. Crap people can't even say Avantair right. This must be the key to NJ's success.

LMAO!!! Like people trying to say Canadair. Always come out as Canada-air, rather than can-a-dare.
