My app has been in for 6 weeks. I've heard of some getting a call for phone interview within that time frame, even with my credentials. Yet I have heard nothing. I have a letter of rec from a friend who works there too. I know so many have applied, and they are being picky.
Is that all there is to a delay for me ? Should I not expect a call if I haven't heard a thing by now? Others have likely waited longer, but I'm feeling lost in the shuffle.

 

Well, I think it varies. It took me 9 months to get the phone interview, and people with my experience got it anywhere from 2 months to a year and a half after getting the app recieved email. From what I have heard they are changing this process around right now and thats why a lot of people are not getting called. They even had to reschedule my phone interview one month out. So its hard to tell.

Since they are changing things around right now you might just be lost in the shuffle. It might not hurt to send in your stuff again. I have also heard that pretty soon, this fall maybe, if you have not been contacted for an interview, they are going to wipe the slate clean, and everyone will have to re-apply. With all their apps on file, they just have so many that they just can't possibly keep up with everything. Just my 2.5 cents. I have been wrong before although it does not happen that often.

 

I've been waiting since Feb. I have double the mins plus several internal recs. I don't quite understand it, but that is life!
